Commercials during live TV
Every Frndly TV subscription includes 50+ live TV channels, which you can select from the Guide. When you watch live programming, commercials are included in the broadcast. These are the same commercials you would see on traditional TV providers.
Skipping commercials on live TV
The Classic and Premium plans include our unlimited DVR feature. With DVR, you can record programs and watch them later. This allows you to fast-forward through commercials once the recording is complete.
Commercials during on-demand programs
Frndly TV offers thousands of on-demand programs, from recent and classic movies to full series of your favorite TV shows. Commercials play at regular intervals throughout many on-demand programs.
Removing commercials from on-demand programs
Many (but not all) of our on-demand offerings are included commercial-free as part of one of our add-on plans. These plans include:

- Great American Pure Flix
- A&E Crime Central
- Lifetime Movie Club
- HISTORY Vault
Including commercials helps keep Frndly TV affordable by offsetting the cost of providing live channels and programming. This allows us to offer a wide selection of content at a lower monthly price than many other TV services, while continuing to deliver the channels and shows our customers enjoy.
