We know how frustrating it can be when things are not working right. If you are experiencing an issue streaming or can't watch Frndly TV, please try following these basic steps to fix the errors. 

 

Please complete the following steps in order: 

 

1. Restart your router and modem:

    1. Restart your router and modem by unplugging them from the wall for 60 seconds, then plug it back in

(Experts say this is a good idea to do every thirty days. Read what they say about it here!)


2. Restart your Roku/Roku TV:

    1. Restart your Roku Player/TV by unplugging it from the wall for 60 seconds, then plug it back in


3. Uninstall the Frndly TV app on your Roku/Roku TV(s):

  1. Click on the "Home" button on your Roku remote (looks like a small house)

  2. Find the Frndly TV app

  3. Press the * button on your Roku remote

  4. Select "Remove Channel

    • If the option to remove the channel does not appear,  select “Check for Updates” instead. If there is an update available, install it. Then, skip to Step 4 to check your Roku device for software updates.

  5. Select  "Remove"

  6. Restart your device by going to Home -> Settings -> System -> System Restart or unplugging it from the wall for 30 seconds

4. Reinstall the Frndly TV app on your Roku/Roku TV(s): 

  1. Press the "Home" button again on your Roku remote 

  2. Scroll down and select “Streaming Channels

  3. Scroll down and select “Search Channels

  4. Type “Frndly TV” and select the Frndly TV app once it appears

  5. Select “Add channel

  6. Wait for download to complete

  7. Sign In

5. Check your Roku Device(s) for Software Updates:

  1. Press the Home button again on your Roku remote control

  2. Use the arrow buttons to scroll to "Settings," and then press the right arrow to select it

  3. Scroll to "System" and select it

  4. Scroll to "System update" and select it

  5. Select "Check now" to manually check for and install updates

Note: Using multiple devices on the same network can cause buffering. Try reducing the number of devices on your network and see if your Frndly TV service improves.
